Zerothreetwo Conversations: Interviews with the Creative Class

Jun 25, 2018

"You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with." - Jim Rohn

With this in mind, we should spend time with people who can have a positive impact to us. This is true for many aspects of life. Spend time with people who make you happy, spend time with people who make you feel valued, and spend time with people who you can learn from.

Conferences like the Spark Fest Cebu is an opportunity to spend time with people you can learn from.  Not only will you be able to hear from the likes of Steve Benitez of Bo's Coffee, but you can hang out and mingle with many likeminded people who attend the conference. People who are trying to learn as much as you are, people who are in the same place in their journey as you are.

In my experience with the Spark Fest Cebu, I got to hear from the likes of Reese Fernandez-Ruiz and Richard Dacalos, two entrepreneurs who have dipped their heart and soul into their startups. I was able to listen to Mark Deutsch of Happy Garaje talk about his approach with clients. I learned from Christina Gaston of Hacienda Crafts what it was like to buck  the trend and stay true to themselves. David Cua and Butch Carungay taught me a new perspective to creativity.

These are just a few of the things I learned while in the Spark Fest Cebu. I compiled them together and put them all in one podcast for you to listen to. This is part one. If you like this episode, you'll like part two which is coming out next week.

Enjoy the podcast!
